- A committed group is a company or at least a group of people engaged in an action that is important to them. It can be the environment, the defence of the animal cause, women's rights...
- Example: Accord has been a committed group for numerous years.

- Noun
- When an organisation is unable to honour its financial obligations or make payment to its creditors, it files for bankruptcy.
- Example: Unfortunately, the city's last book store went into bankruptcy last December.

- Amount of money that a person or group has available to spend.
- Example: The purchasing power of citizens has decreased due to inflation.

- The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) is an independent non-ministerial department. They help people, businesses and the UK economy by promoting competitive markets and tackling unfair behaviour in a number of ways, like investigate mergers that have the potential to lead to a substantial lessening of competition or take action against businesses and individuals that take part in cartels or anti-competitive behaviour

- Sourcing is the process of vetting, selecting, and managing suppliers who can provide the inputs an organization needs for day-to-day running

- A company controlled by a holding company.
- Example: This company has subsidiaries all over the world.

- A supplier is a person, company, or organization that sells or supplies something such as goods or equipment to customers or companies.
- Example: Suppliers must be aware of their indirect impact on deforestation and actively work to not contribute to it.

- Action in which a company makes a public offer to purchase another company.
- Example: Cadbury have accepted a takeover bid from Kraft Foods.

- Example: The two companies merged last quarter.

- Noun
- This represents the multiplication of the quantities sold and the unit price of the products. It is the amount of money taken by a business.
- Example: The company's turnover for the year was higher than last year.

- Consumption tax on goods and services that is levied at each stage of the supply chain where value is added, from initial production to the point of sale.
- Example: James calculated the VAT and added it to his invoice.

- A person or company that sells goods in large quantities at low prices.
- Example: The store manager called the wholesaler to complain about the damaged goods that had been delivered.
